The Mortgage Broker Called Today ...

The mortgage broker called today and let me know that Jen and I are approved on the loan amount that we requested. We already got the offer on the house. Meaning that it's pretty official, Jen and I are moving into a house that we are buying. So, it looks like we'll have a break from renting. Hopefully a really long break. If all goes well Jen and I want to be able to get it paid off in 15 years. But that's supposing that we can be strict with our spending. Right now it's all good and stuff but I expect that once the babies start coming it might stretch back to the 30 year mark until I get a few years under my belt at work and get a couple raises. I've already moved to a higher paying position in the Information Technology department in the Canyons School District. I was an Elementary School Technical Support Specialist and yesterday I started a Secondary School Technical Support Specialist position that pays one "lane" higher.

It's kind of funny. Everything that Jen has really wanted she's gotten. Me graduated, about 20 piano students, a dog, now a house, etc. I think the only thing that we don't quite have that she's been wanting is a baby. I know how to help with that ... (0_-) (0_-) (Did that comment just make this post 'PG' or can I pawn it off as a Disney 'G'?).
